The Met: Islamic Journeys

An educational app targeting new galleries of Islamic Art at the Met.

We designed an experience for children, which would entice them to engage with the exposition. The user is guided by the app to go from room to room. In each room the user is given a hint: a zoomed-in image of one of the exhibits in the room. The user has to find the item and scan the barcode next to it. Doing so successfully reveals a fun animation of the object.

Created in the framework of Interactive Design for Museums class, collaborative project with The Metropolitan Museum of Art, spring 2013.
Collaboration with Matt Felsen and Mauricio Sanchez.
